I think it peaked somewhere between the middle of the xbox and ps3 life. After a certain point, games just got too ambitious and adapted the "complete the game later, we have patches!" mentality.
Nothing quite tops ps2, SNES, early 2000s but overall games became too copy paste in general. Trying to be the next trend. --- People are afraid of what they don't understand. ... Copied to Clipboard!
