I wish they would branch out from Mario Maker. There are a few "fad" games they'll play every now and then (usually Nintendo games, but not always) but they usually drop those pretty quickly and go right back to Mario Maker.

Yeah, the guy I watch with occasionally play other Nintendo games (has been uploading mostly Mario Golf Super Rush videos the last few days), but for the most part it's all Mario Maker.

Blame the algorithm. There have been plenty of YouTubers who have tried to branch out from the thing that has made them popular only to find that their new videos get almost no views and significantly less exposure because of the way YouTube works. Which is fine if you're doing it for fun, but if you've gotten to the point where you depend on it to pay the bills some people just can't afford to try new things.

I just realized that I haven't seen Dode online in a long, long time. I wonder if I just miss his streams.
