Wait, the new one? I think he got married long ago, got a divorce, and she took a bunch of money from him. Then he was with Nikki Bella for a long time, but wouldn't marry her. Then he found a new one and got married to this one. So did those two break up?

Obsessing over it? Yes. That's going to tank the relationship no matter what.

Considering it a possibility if you're not careful? NO. It's fucking wise. It's realistic by today's standards.

People who shame you for making that cautious consideration prior to getting married are worthless fools. They don't have your best interests in mind; they're pissed you're daring to question their comfortable status quo while not obediently contributing it. You're thinking differently and they don't like it. Simple as that. You don't have to say it, but in your mind feel free to tell them to fuck off with that manipulation (relatives included). Signing up for marriage should not ever be treated lightly, especially not for modern men in the west.

You can absolutely consider methods of self protection as a man (that examine your partner's integrity) and still manage to be mature enough to have a long successful marriage. Some of those precautions can actually be pretty reliable shit tests for hos who are just out to use you, not love you. A woman who's real and actually cares about you will (albeit grudgingly) understand, partly because she's been testing you at the same time. For a marriage, that's who you should be checking out: someone who can put up with your relationship having equal consideration and support. Don't waste your time with hypocrites who bitch about you taking a closer look at their character before a serious commitment like marriage. That just shows they're not really considering the potential impact(s) the changes could have on your life specifically. They're too busy thinking of the benefits for themselves. What a great candidate for your ring, right...?

If you meet someone who's made it clear they're feeling as committed and supportive of you as you want to be for them, that's great. I like hearing about that; I'm actually pro-marriage for couples doing it right and practice honest mutual consideration towards each other. To me that's a beautiful phenomena. Unfortunately, that's becoming a rarer and rarer experience for young couples in the US, hugely in part because of social double standards and archaic legal institutions actively sexist towards non-wealthy men. The top 10% of men can scandalously afford to dance around family court penalties. With enough status and wealth they can practically get away with anything. The grand majority of lower class men can not. Regular class men need to practice greater discretion when choosing who they wife up to avoid getting reamed by biased legal institutions that actively perpetuate harmful classism. All that typically takes is making a girlfriend's integrity a higher priority.

So it's not hateful, immature, or misogynistic for a young middle class man who's building himself up to take a moment and question whether or not he's ready for marriage with a potential partner yet. I applaud it. He's thinking with the head above his shoulders...the one that keeps him alive. Neglecting to do so is brainless and blindly idealistic. And I'm proud of a young man who stops for a moment and has the wit to run that self analysis before a decision that will hugely impact his life. That is real progress in action. That's a sign of a man worth marrying.

All you have to do, see, is this one trick. It will get you out of at least 30% of life's jams: fuck her sister and or best friend. The relationship will either end immediately or get soooooo much better lol

No, it's a good thing, now you can just break up instead of getting a divorce.
