I just got SotN which I guess is the gold standard but haven't started it yet. A running gag is while one whacked away, the other would shout "one more hit" while watching the bar - and the player would die. I miss those days. Wrong about 30 times before getting it right. In that regard, reminds me of Souls games. Can't get my brother to try them though. Souls brought me back to gaming after about 12 years.
