I lost my job at the start of the pandemic, and was on unemployment for 3 months. Yesterday I got another tax return check for $900 because they may have been taxing my checks too much during unemployment.

Is it the one we got if you paid taxes earlier? They later passed something that made it so you didn't have to pay federal taxes on unemployment up to a certain amount. So if you did your taxes in like February, you didn't get credit for that.

Yeah I guess that's it. We did our taxes pretty early.

We got a letter saying we were going to get a refund for the tax on my wife's unemployment, but so far, nothing. >_>
