PS2 games are older than now than many retro NES games were when the PS2 came out. If you think that console generation isn't retro you're in denial of your age.

PS2 Classic when?

I was at a Gran Turismo event recently where they had PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4 games, and the PS1 and the PS2 games, they looked ancient, like why would anybody play this?

If used prices are any indication, then yes.

Doesn't feel very retro to me, but then I remember we are further from the release of Vice City than the game was from its setting.

Same reason people still play NES, SNES, PS1, etc. games?

Retro ends and modern begins when the twin stick era became a mainstream thing. That means PS2.

PS1 games DID USE the analog sticks but not many...

PS2 graphics may pale in comparison to modern consoles but the core gameplay is relatively unchanged.

PS1 is retro and you can visibly see it in the shit graphics and the core gameplay is drastically different due to d-pad control schemes.

PS2 is just the blueprint for the PS3/4 and now 5. PS2 is modern. PS1 is retro.
