I made a topic last week saying there is no way we will never get an ending to the Game of Thrones books. I said someone will for sure finish for him if he can't. But I just found out that at least once, the worse scenario did happen

Mystery writer Sue Grafton wrote a series of murder mystery novels called the Alphabet series that began in the early 80s. I remember seeing them in book stores all my life but never read one. A is for whatever, B is for Yada Yada

And so on

She did a book for each letter but right before she could begin writing Z Is For, she got cancer and couldn't work. And then died 2 years later

She left in her will that none of her stories would ever be made into tv shows or movies because she had a hatred for Hollywood. But more importantly she wrote that nobody ever ghost write the final novel. So it ended 1 story from the end. Which must suck major ass for people who followed the series since 1982 or whatever

Anyway, I guess it's possible after all that Martin might leave the world with a giant Fuck You . But I hope not

no, TC is just saying that it's possible GRRM might decide to not have anyone continue ASoIaF for him if he died before it was finished

Yea. I think so. Apparently they all are about the same Detective. That's what it seemed like from my like 1 minute of research into the plot of the series. Each book is a different case though
