I mean kirk would be sexist to some plus he has or tries to have sex every episode, I can imagine there would be something or another offensive to everyone that sees it for the first time

It would be fine.

The 'tHiS wOuLd NeVeR bE aLlOwEd ToDaY!" complains are usually off their mark. Hell, it's usually said about thing still being played.

I mean the alt right would be against Plato's Stepchildren so it definitely would be allowed.

It would probably be just as popular, tbh.

Sulu, Spock, Uhura. Roddenberry was ahead of the curve for sure

There was an episode about aliens, black on one side and white on the other, who were racist toward aliens who had the inverse white/black pattern. Today, that would probably be considered blackface.

I don't think anyone would legitimately be offended, except for far right types who would be mad the show dared to address racism, but I think people on social media would fish for any excuse they could to be outraged.

On the other hand the TNG episode called 'Code of Honor' would definitely not fucking fly
It was even controversial when it aired

As long as it dropped all the blackface.
Though I'm not sure if something that unabashedly and unironically campy could be made today which is a shame, because it's pretty great at it.

Uh, yes it would be inappropriate.
Are you kidding me?

Pike actually tells one chick that women arent allowed on the bridge. Kirk is almost playing grab ass with Yeoman Rand every time she brings him a tablet and the rest of the bridge crew just chuckle at the encounters. Women in Starfleet are forbidden pants. The list just goes on and on.

There's a time when Abraham Lincoln uses the five letter n-word (no, the less racist one) then apologizes because it was the term used in his day and he didn't mean anything by it. Uhara tells him he has no need to apologize.

That, I believe, would be a controversial scene today.

Conservatives would say it's virtual signaling, and shoehorning in women and POC for SJWs.

That's because it's super-duper racist.

There are for sure scenes which wouldn't be in the show if it were made today.

This one definitely would not be included.
