What Ramsey did to him in the show is almost mild and gentle

The guy is legit locked in a dungeons for days without sunlight, food and is covered in feces. The most common form of torture involves peeling the skin from a finger and leaving it to get infected. Theon must then beg to have the finger amputated, but Ramsay lets him beg and grovel to have it cut off for days on end before he graciously grants the wish. Theon loses about half his fingers and toes, half of his teeth are knocked out, his hair has gone white. His mind is almost as bad as his body and he is almost a dead husk by the start of ADWD.
