Yeah, it was seen as lackluster, and Code Veronica was "the real RE3". That completely flipped as time went on

I just couldnt get into it. Right near the beginning, I would go to switch screens and the second I switched, Nemesis would instantly appear on top of me and OHKO me. It must have been a glitch, but it happened every time and I never could get past that part.

I honestly dont like the idea of introducing an invincible juggernaut enemy that randomly shows up and destroys you. I liked shooting slow zombies with the tank controls, not frantically running for my life. I would have given it another shot, but that glitch turned me off on it.

Idk gaming mags plus classmate consensus was that the game was so short and had no real depth except outrun Nemesis. Not bad per se.
