I have to go to a mad men themed party on Saturday. Which is stupid because the men just wore suits, they don't have the time period right the person planning it told me the 50s, it's at a bar that's not themed for the time at all, and I don't want to wear a costume on a Saturday summer night.
Why cant people just have a normal party? --- The night brims with defiled scum,and is permeated by their rotten stench. Just think. Now you're all set to hunt and kill to your heart's content. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Although I personally generally like an excuse to dress up in a costume, that does sound like a stupid theme for a party. First thing one should ask themselves when planning such a party is how broad the dress-up options are, and not just "Ooooh, I really like this one character's outfit and wanna dress up like that, so EVERYONE should dress up like someone from that show! Yaay, *squeal*, xoxo, uwuwuwuwuwuwu"

once i had to go to a party where the theme was mustaches. i had to buy a mustache.

You could wear one of those dress shirts that has no back and wear shorts with a top coat and then take the coat off.
