Current Events > If you could ONLY go to two of dese Disney World parks, which would dey be?

Change of plans CE, we were going to universal but a few more people want to go which dey will be bringing kids and teens so now since da fireworks are back in July at disney everyone (sadly) chose disney world over universal. Which is ok, i don't mind both are great but i think we can only choose two parks but dunno which

I would prefer magic and animal but a lot of da kids want to visit toy story land in hollywood studios so dats something too

Damn this is tough. Magic Kingdom would definitely be one of them. As for the other, it would depend what kind of mood Im in. I think they all have their pros and stuff worth seeing.

i think magic kingdom and Hollywood Studios would be a good mix. Especially if you like Star Wars because Hollywood Studios has that.

I love animal kingdom, deir animals and da avatar rides are great. So I'm more for dat park BUT I've never been to da other two parks so iunno, maybe dey are better. I know Hollywood studios has dat star wars thing

Magic Kingdom needs to be one of the parks you go to.

Hollywood Studios was my least favorite.

Animal Kingdom is probably the next best choice if youve never been to it before. I wouldnt go a 2nd time, but it was a really good one-time trip. Go early and head straight to the safari line before it gets too crowded, as that is the key attraction.

Epcot is fun for adults, boring for kids. You basically go around to different parts of the world and try the foods and drinks from them. It gets pricey, though.

If I were heading back with friends, Id do MK & Epcot. If I were going and kids were involved on a first time trip, Id do MK & AK.

Hollywood Studios is most closely like magic kingdom in that it has a lot of rides. Epcot is beautiful and a ton of fun but Id say its much less ride focused.

This. Magic Kingdom is great for the little kids and still has enough for the big people. And Hollywood is great; SW area, Indiana Jones, Tower of Terror, Rockin Rollercoaster. And constant SW parades.

Epcot sucks for kids. Just lots of walking and only a few rides, mostly upfront except Frozen.

Yeah, this. MK is the iconic park but imo is overrated. Epcot kinda sucks, it can be totally skipped

Went to Magic Kingdom as a kid. HATED IT.

Animal Kingdom has real animals so that alone puts it above the manufactured fakeness of the other parks.

Hollywood Studios just seems more fun than the other parks.

So definitely Hollywood and Animal.

Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios

Animal Kingdom is good, but two of their rides are down. That leaves them with only seven. You're better off going to Hollywood and trying to get on that new Star Wars ride.

Its funny how divided people are on Epcot. Ive had some people tell me its their favorite park and some its their least favorite.

Rookie mistake unless youre spending a week just at Disney World. You try to fit in too much and youll just end up rushing from place to place and making everyone miserable. Disney World is stressful as fuck. Its expensive, its crowed, and its hot as hell. The last thing you want is to try to keep everyone on a strict schedule so you can see everything.

Id say a day per park would be a good basis. You can easily spend a day in any one of those four parks and still not get around to everything.

anymore than that and yea I agree it will be a rushed experience.

Small World? Boring.
Splash Mountain? Its a log ride.

Honestly, I thought Carowinds, Kings Dominion, and even Dollywood had better rides. And those places come with 90% less hassle, which equals more fun.

I would agree the rides are mostly aimed at children, but I had a ton of fun with them. Space mountain is a blast! But I get your point.

I think the majority of people would probably choose magic kingdom as their favorite Disney park though. It is a good reminder to keep in mind that it is geared towards kids. But that doesnt mean you cant have fun. If youre looking for more extreme rides Id recommend universal.

Never been to Murrican Disney World, but whichever has the best roller coasters.

Ah okay, you were expecting bigger rides. Yeah, Disney isn't exactly known for large rollercoasters, so I can see that being disappointing if you weren't aware of that.

I live in California, so my experience is mostly with Disneyland (went to Disney World once as a kid), but the rides can be fun for any age, if you don't mind the lack of intensity. The theming and animatronics are something you just don't get with the extreme coasters.

So far da plan is spending 2 full days dere, not counting da days we leave and return

So i think if I can convince dem to spend 1 more day, we can do 3 parks in 3 different days. Park hopping isn't an option with dis big of a group tbh
