Some background: she's 8 years older than me, so we've never been particularly close to each other. I wish things weren't that way, but it's not really something I've put effort into.

I was visiting my parents today, and she stopped by too, clearly in a bad mood owing to issues at work. Things got worse from there. Before she left, she went on a rant about how her ex's new wife has a BLM sign in the lawn, and she doesn't want her daughter growing up in that environment.

I wish I would've said something, but I don't think adding conflict to the situation would've improved it any.

Alright, that's enough of me venting about bullshit you don't care about.
