Galaxy was the last game I remember making me cry. For whatever reason Luma sacrificing itself with the rest of them got me

I only got 100% as late as last year. Having to essentially beat the game twice caused me to put it off for a while. In 2018/2019 I did a 120 stars run as Mario, waited a year or so until I felt like playing again as Luigi

I got 121 stars then stopped after realizing you need to beat the game twice except with Luigi, no thanks.

I found the post main game in Super Mario Galaxy 2 more interesting. Some of the green stars were tricky and fun to get. The final stage was also surprisingly hard for a Mario game.
