You have absolutely no way of knowing that. In another situation this could just be a story about a guy who killed prostitutes instead of his family.

I'd feel wrong accepting a total of $200,000 from someone if I was a streamer. Like that's absurd. Something like $100 is reasonable but anything more than $1000 I'd have to start asking questions, like are you rich, is this dirty money, etc. What a fucked up story though.

I'm not sure that's true. In this case he became obsessed with a specific porn streamer and stole thousands and thousands of dollars from his family to make her think he was wealthy. I don't see it turning out much differently if he was obsessed with some hooker instead
