I've always heard it referred to as "military time" or "24 hour time". I can't speak for the entire country, but plenty of people in Los Angeles know it, at least.

When I was a kid I had a digital watch that got stuck on military time and I couldnt change it so thats how I learned to use it

most call it military time, but thats not really the correct word, other countries dont call ir military time, i dont know what they call it, any know?

Even my cheap $40 Casio watch has it.

Like there is a little 13 next to where the big 1 is.

Growing up in USA and really most of my life I've only heard it referenced in a military context or by someone in the military. So used to AMPM it just feels right.

Yeah, it's not very hard.

The machine I use at work uses it so I've gotten quite used to it. Even before that, it only takes a quick sec to figure it out.
