Hadnt been able to drive for a week or two, but in that time I discovered a channel. And he explains things in a perfect way for me. Diagrams and a drivers cam are perfect for helping me out. I couldnt understand what I was being told half the time when I was actually driving. So when I went driving today, I felt like I was doing everything with way more confidence and skill than I had been. Im sure most people here dont need to learn, so they dont care much, but I wanted to say something about him.

Driving again today. I was put on the highway, but a relatively inactive one, so my mistakes (which were mostly allowing myself to dip under the speed limit in the slow lane) werent too scary. Honestly I never went that fast, so I wasnt used to maintaining that speed. The one teaching me picked well, it was a mostly straight road, a few stoplights, and the road wasnt busy.
Then I finally got to park, my 90 degrees were fine, but I never watched the video on 45 degree, so they were always off. Amazing how preparation helps. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I'm super curious now...Most of it, probably. I think staying in my lane (especially when turning) and parking were the things that most frustrated the one teaching me with my inability to be perfect. I needed them put in a more concrete way in order to really understand how I was supposed to move my hands. [LFAQs-redacted-quote] Even though Ive been more confident recently, I was still terrified. But it worked out fine and helped me learn skills I didnt have. [LFAQs-redacted-quote] I feel like I was a beginner a bit longer than the one teaching me wouldve liked, but I found my way of getting better, so I guess its fine. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
