Mid/late 20s. A lot of shit can happen in your life up until then that can change how you develop

this is true. there's some things i still learned through mid 20's. mostly by learning to save some money for bigger things i wanted or to prepare for emergency's and yes both things have happened before.

Tbf you dont necessarily have to have much responsibility if youre older either. It depends more on how you choose to live your life. You can stay by yourself without anyone else to take care of for your whole life.
I mean more like their lives have so few regular responsibilities that dealing with a new one is a major crisis for them.

I dont know how many times Ive heard them describing some personal ordeal that ended up being something inane that every adult has to do all the time. Only they just experienced it for the first time.

Who knows what they would do if they suddenly had to deal with kids, a house, a spouse, or god forbid all of them at once.

Never. Some of the most immature people I've ever met were senior citizens.

Never, really.

People still cry, laugh, feel amazement and wonder and feel insecurities too. We're raised to think adults are wise and have all, or at least most, of the answers.

Our concept of "adult" is fantasy, few people reach said levels of stoicism and enlightment. We're all kids pretending to be grown ups.
