Gerard Butler was a defense contractor and a pair of thugs broke into his home randomly and murdered his wife and kid and tried to murder him but he survive and went on a rampage stealth-killing all those involved including the judge and lawyers. The actually killer , he trapped, paralyzed and tortured and murdered him on film and sent the tape to the prosecutor who he felt let the guy off easy because of a plea deal and the prosecutor's young daughter saw the film and got traumatized which is super fucked up... apologies for typos.
