I'd probably agree with Karol, although the caveat to that is that's more of a reflection of how absolutely broken some of the Vesperia cast is.

If we're just going by AI, Judith because lmao the game doesn't know how to make her work.

Otherwise, Repede imo, he doesn't have much in the way of stun properties and even Karol has a few bread and butter techs that utilize them.

Gameplay wise for most of the game on the first playthrough Karol is most likely the worst due to his really poor mobility and unwieldy fighting style due to using a oversized, heavy weapon, and being effective with him requires quite a few skills to be learned and equipped. For most of the game Karol has to play more of a secondary healing / support role, which he isn't bad at, than a offensive one. His TP growth isn't the greatest and quite a few of his skills cost considerable amounts of TP so he can burn through his TP quickly if you aren't careful and / or don't temporarily disable his higher TP cost artes so the AI won't use them.
