That section and 2:04 make the track for me-- they turn the track into something genuinely memorable. I love how the original drum pattern wraps around the 7/4 section (which I end up counting in 8/7/7/6 beat segments instead); it makes the whole thing retroactively cooler. -the whimsical tone of this track really clicks with me; I'm always struck by 1:16 because it feels like the one moment Cassie Wei breaks character, a strangely sincere-feeling moment, like 'yeah this is how I actually feel'. my eyes are firmly BUTTERED <cite>kaonashi1 posted [p:954866088] in [VGMC] Day...
