People see all those studies on spanking children and go "Well they're not looking at the right research. I was spanked and it made me a better person."

His success playing a role in winning games draws attention to the home city which creates opportunities for other businesses to profit off of. On top of that, it builds pride for the community and creates a sense of identity for the denizens of the team's city. Even better, a number of athletes don't get paid proportionately to what they're able to contribute, but this will soon change with the advent of blockchain tech, NFTs, and the sort.

Truth is though, a lot of black people who came from poverty or are in poverty are the biggest proponents against masking and the vaccine. They rightfully have a fear of the government and the agenda it pushes. After it has screwed their people so much throughout history.

no, but it's pretty much mandated because of the rule that you wait 3 years after high school and if you don't play college football your chances are essentially nil. so it's de facto required.

Oh I fully get it.

My point stands though. If I had to pick between someone who wants to be a surgeon getting a scholarship/acceptance to get an education vs, say, a guy who runs really fast getting a scholarship/acceptance for an "education" because he wants to be rich and famous for a few years, thats an easy pick.
