Resident Evil and Devil May Cry both gets the PG treatment and dies as franchises but Monster Hunter flourishes and enters the top echelon of Nintendo.

Square Enix's titles were mostly prominent on Playstation anyway, so not much changes.

Microsoft realizes how pathetic they are now, and just like how SEGA reminisces of the good ol' days of the 90s, Microsoft will miss late 00s/early 10s.

But Nintendo allows the Bayonetta games to exist and funded Devil's Third (as shitty as that game was, but still). And even some of their own IPs can get pretty edgy at times (Metroid, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, etc.).

Capcom has too many horny game devs to work for Nintendo. No more Morgan, Ada Wong or any other sexually charged women that we have loved in the past. They'd dumb down the sex appeal to appeal to stupid children. Nintendo would essentially discontinue Capcom's fighting games or at the very least, shoehorn the characters into Smash. The last thing Nintendo wants is to be competing with itself, they've done that enough in the past.

Capcom as a Nintendo 2nd party would do very well, imo. At least if REmake is any indicator of that. Then again that game is 20 years old and Capcom hasn't really done anything noteworthy to appear on N's consoles in at least a decade.

Microsoft wouldn't know what to do with Sega. Sega essentially has done well publishing other studio's games, which is what MS wants to do. Sega would be a bump on Microsoft's nuts just like Rare has been. Though MS would gladly take that money from the ten gamers out there that still don't own a copy of Sonic 2.

Sony buying Square Enix makes the most sense but I have a feeling that the power would go to SE's head and their games would go over budget with Sony footing the bill. All of SE's biggest franchises are are already on Sony's systems so I don't really know how Sony would benefit from owning the company.

Nintendo allows all the sexy anime games on their console now that Sony is censoring the shit out of them. Most of the Japanese companies are jumping ship over to Nintendo. They only censor the games for the west.

So.. what about the resident evil games on switch, including Resident Evil 4 that has Ada Wong, as well as Bayonetta 1-3? Not to mention Xenoblade 1 and 2.

Nintendo and Resident Evil have a peppered history. Lately Capcom hasn't made Nintendo consoles a priority. Every single Resident Evil game on Switch is a port. REmake 2, REmake 3, Resident Evil 7 and 8 didn't launch on Switch and will not likely see ports in it's lifetime. That's not to say RE games are doing bad on Switch sales wise. Every RE game budget brand on the console.
