I probably be cordial. Would I be the man's friend - no idea. It depends on how he treated me, and how I witnessed him treat others. I mean, I don't actually know the evidence against him - I know alot of people think he's guilty and a lot think he's innocent. So I'd make up my own mind for myself upon interacting and observing him I suppose.

In any case, I hope you put your money where your mouth is. I have no plans to visit that discord but I did join your board and I will keep an eye out for any problematic content, though I am more interested in the content the board is based upon and that you promote. My investments to this point have been mostly passive, low risk and hands off. I am looking to work my way gradually into more aggressive options with more to gain, so we shall see if I get good advice and can do anything with it :P

There really was no context to that screenshot tho. Its one guy accusing Tails of saying something from what I assume is another topic on another platform, and then Tails not even acknowledging what was said, and replying with something akin to "stop making fun of me."

I have no fucking idea whats going on. I now think I understand this board assertions that, because Tails did not deny it, and challenged that users to debate him, that what was said is true. However, I don't have any context as to the conversation either of them are referring to.

On top of that Tails didn't even clarify what debate he was challenging said user to. I assume that you all are insinuating that Tails is offering to debate said users about the validity of the pedo accusation, but Tails never states that. For somebody unfamiliar with the history between both users, as well as the platforms in which the discussion is being held...there just isn't anything I can do with that.

I didn't even dismiss it. I just asked for context. That could be a link to said Reddit post, or the GameFaqs post that I think that reddit post was referring too. But I didn't get any of that. I just got crickets...and then days later accused of justifying some viewpoint that I never even got clarity on in the first place.

I made a reply at some point that basically said that I understand that if y'all have nothing but negative interactions with Tails that everything he says will be interpreted from a viewpoint that Tails has malicious, hateful intent. Due to your personal experiences everything he does is under a microscope, and under scrutiniy. So its very easy for you all to interpet these posts in the way that your do, and see them as blanta hateful rhetoric... and they really might be.

They might actually be what you all claim they are. He might actually be a hateful, racist bigot. However, you gotta understand that myself, whose only interactions with this person are nothing but positive and come from a board where nothing but crypto is talked about...well...I don't view those comments under the same microscope as you all.

As such, its hard for me to interpret them in the same way that you all do. They are not as blatant as you make them out to be. They may appear that way to you - but show that to someone without any background at all as to who/what Tails or GameFaqs even is, and it's hard to interpret.

Which is why I asked for context. You all have context. I have zero. Yet, I'm being asked to banish and persecute somebody for something I have no greater understanding of whatsoever.

He then made a comparison that to himself that said he gets modded for every little thing because people hate him and can interpret everything he posts in a negative mod-worthy light...whereas obvious pedophiles don't get modded at all. If he calls people out on their pedo comments, he gets modded for attacking them, while the initial offensive comments go unmodded.

He said he never mentioned anything at all about LGBT. That the topic itself was about Russia laughing at US Military Recruiting Ads or something. That the dude on reddit that called him out for LGBT=Pedo made it up. Completely out of thin air. Rather than acknowledging the comparison, he invited said user to return to GameFaqs and debate him on his pedo comments...

he has been pulling a number of tricks those kind of people advice each other to attempt to win online arguments, including:

• bOtH SiDeS
• Play dumb and pretend they do not understand and act confused, and when the other party provides the additional context and/or explanation, pretend it did not happen and then play dumb again
• claim ignorance about a specific event or story, and when the other party explains, you guessed it, pretend it didn't happen and claim ignorance again.

What? Prior to coming into this topic I didn't have any idea the allegations or history of Tails & Shadow. Now I do, so if I see them post controversial shit, I may now interpret it a bit differently. Your experience was noted, and it helped. As did everyone's else's experience within this topic.

That still doesn't change the fact that they behave within the communities I manage, and I've never actually seen the type of behavior being described.

Y'all may disagree with my decision to not oust them based on their reputation, but that still doesn't change the fact that the crypto communities are NOT maga hangouts or fronts for white supremacy or whatever. It's just for talking about crypto - thats it.
