The former, to be honest. It's hard to commit the time as a mod when going through a career change and relocation. As such my moderating probably wasn't up to par, so I decided to step down.

I'm actually not up to date on why people hate Tails. I rarely venture outside my 5 or 6 boards, and Tails doesn't post in any of those. I only found CE this year myself. Went 18 years or so without ever visiting.

However, I launched the Cryptocurrency board earlier this year. I didn't really know how to work the controls, and was asking questions in the Discord. Tails said he'd come in and help me manage it as he had experience with community boards.

He did so and he was amazingly helpful. Never had a single problem with him, and he was instrumental in catching all the crypto spammers. So yea, this is kind of a shock hearing all this shit about him.

Never did me wrong tho, so that's why I have an RIP topic for both him & Shadow on the crypto board: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/1285-bitcoin-and-cryptocurrency

I'm not denying the stuff said about Tails & Shadow, but I can only judge people based on how they treat me. They were both very helpful and instrumental in helping get the GameFaqs crypto community off the ground. Already many members have benefitted from these resources existing.

Eh, I treat others as they treat me. This isn't to say that if I witness a friend of mine being rude to someone else that I'm not going to step in to say something. Obviously I've been soured on people in the past by witnessing them treating others like dirt.

However, I have not witnessed it. Outside if my own crypto board, and maybe some hellhole posts I've never seen Shadow or Tails before. We don't frequent the same communities.

There is a dude who I think posts here called Cannuck Cowboy. I've known him for well over a decade. We are both old school members of the Martial Arts board. We were friends. Then I started posting here this year after I got tagged by someone. I noticed Cannuck was pretty nasty to alot of people here, and honestly I've gotten on him for doing it on the MA board as well.

Long story short, I cut ties and blocked him. It's not out of the question that I could do the same with Tails or Shadow, but cancel campaigns don't work on me. It's all about personal experience.

I'm aware of his hate because he was banned and this topic was made. Obviously if I'm posting in this topic I'm now aware. Of course. Why wouldn't I. Judge others based on how they treat you, and how you've witnessed them treat others. My only interaction with Tails that I can remember is from the Crypto board.

I'm still don't even know why Tails was banned. People keep on telling me he's a racist or a homophobe. But I've never seen any of that. So it was it is. I won't marginalize your experiences, and you shouldn't marginalize mine.

I'm just concerned that y'all going to invade the crypto board because it was moderated by three members who recently loss their account. Three members whom I guess we're part of some sort of GameFaqs "Legion of Doom" - but the crypto board itself is week behaved, and does alot of good.
