I think the devs are afraid of backlash if they take these weapons out MP modes,
i think these are the gamers that pay 119 bucks for day special editions.

they got their own mode for sniper only btw but they got to other modes....to use snipers this way.

I'm switching to Battlefield so fucking fast when 6 comes out assuming it's a modern setting

Battlefield isn't perfect but they're way way better made and better balanced than shitty CoD games but CoD is the only popular franchise that has a modern setting that has respawning so I'm stuck with it

they nerf the shit out of it in the first black ops for all of a couples weeks and its been there ever since. they'll never remove it. its part of cod now.

I recently got BF 5 thru PS Plus and constantly get killed by Snipers from across the entire map. At least in COD I rarely see people using sniper rifles like in the OP.

Hopefully BF 6 is good, but 5 is pretty fucking bad.

At least in 3 and 4 snipers took some skill to use because of the bullet drop.

He wrecked that entire team. The only issue here is they did nothing to slow him down. Throw a smoke to break his line of sight then close the distance.

People get their ass kicked and immediately want everything nerfed.

as a warzone player, snipers w/crossplay on are kinda cancerous.

they are the only weapon class not get any kind of nerf, and hackers love them due to long range aimbot.

Yes, I'm sure the only issue is the enemy team. Nothing to do with sniper implementation in COD games.

Quickscoping and bunny hopping are some of the dumbest shit that still exists in "realistic" shooters. God forbid a game trying to convince you of its realistic shooting mechanics, realistic character models, realistic environments, ect. while actually enforcing the logic consistently instead of babying a small, rabid, and toxic portion of its player base.

Titanfall? Infinite Warfare? Halo? Put all that in if you want. All the bunnyhopping, wall shooting, no hip, double jumping, spinning shit you want, it could be a great game.

Yeah, even besides all the cheaters, it's pretty obvious to everyone that M&K has a huge advantage over a controller in every meaningful way. That forced Crossplay for Warzone is a joke and breaks one of the fundamental rules of game design for competitive play--Player parity. But they don't care about good game design, they care about maximizing profits, even if it comes at the expense of their largest player bases.
