That sounds difficult, depending on what kind of guide you want, since I feel like so much is interconnected. You could easily write out a guide for how to get through the game, start to finish, but it seems really hard to write a guide that would help someone stuck at any given point without knowing what else they have or haven't reasoned out.

Maybe do it in two sections.

One is walkthrough that goes through where to find all of the death scenes, points of interest in the scenes, and notable hints that might help, like the tags on the hammocks.

And for the other, include just a list of the solutions for people who want to look it up.

Exactly.

The general structure would be:

Preamble (Intro, FAQ, Controls)
General Tips (Operation of the game, things to watch out for)
Exploring the Ship (Finding all the corpses on ship and the "mid-memory" bodies they connect to)
Chapter by Chapter (each scene, hints in each scene)
Character by Character (each character, hints towards their identity/death, their pertinent scenes)

So in other words, there'd be repeated information, but the guide could be searched based on particular scene or by character you're looking to fill in.

It can work if you've got imagination :)

It sounds like an interesting problem to solve. I think Id have wanted a hint like try looking in this memory for information relating to this portrait. Some stuff I struggled with was small visual details like the hammocks or shoes. Im not sure of a good way to indicate that direction without spoiling the oh shit! moments

I do think that you should include an outright list of fates in spoiler tags. There are inevitably going to be frustrated people who look at a guide just wanting the answer, so I feel like it should be included, even if it takes away from the spirit of the game.
