I remember when I was in high school, kids would be talking about the new PS2 game they got every month. I only got new games like twice a year. I don't want my kids to feel left out. I'll buy them a new game every month.

I mostly got to rent stuff.

My kids would either not game at all, or get every game they want. Depends on who the wife is.

I would imagine I would do it mostly on birthdays and Christmas. Otherwise they can buy the games themselves with their allowance. I would also like them to spend time doing other things.

I buy them when they go on sale and sprinkle them throughout the year for birthday, christmas, etc.

My parents were broke so we rarely got new games. Mostly would just rent them. I always felt like I missed out on a lot. We didnt even get a PC until I was 16 and I was heavily monitored and still too broke to buy PC games.

If my girl is a gamer then she will get whatever she wants as long as shes doing well in school and behaving well. I dont want her to miss out like I did.

Occasionally. I bought my daughter Slime Rancher. She plays her own little games in it that have nothing to do with how the game is actually played

lol in the 00s rentals were kinda expensive. Never occured to me that I could just buy a game every month or two instead of renting

can't you just buy your kids fireworks, cigarettes, and porn if you want them to be cool?

With stuff like Fortnite, Minecraft and Game Pass/PS+ I dunno if they'll even want to buy games often.
