I put about 100 hours into destiny 2, couldn't get into the loop.

For me, warframe offers everything destiny does, only better for my tastes.

warframe doesnt have the same polish as destiny. it's cool though.

We're talking about looter shooters, grind isn't a dirty word here. If the core gameplay loop is compelling to the player, playing the same content over and over isn't an issue.

It was fun to play, but fuck the Destiny grind.

Plus fuck the RNG system they have. Fuck pinnacle drops that would just drop the same type of item so you couldnt raise power levels.

Rarely any anymore. If any, CoD.

Like I said, Destiny and Destiny 2 were fun and I had tons of memories and fun raiding with my different raid groups. The grind is just not fun doing the same thing over and over and over again to get shit loot because the RNG system isnt good. My helmet is maxed, stop making my pinnacle drops be helmets.

And thats not even getting into random stat rolls for gear that adds to the grind. I also think I read that transmog is annoying to get resources for, but I honestly dont know about that.

Visuals are stellar and music is incredible. Gameplay is good, at it's basic level

Raids are very hit or miss. Beyond knowing (sometimes interesting) mechanics, it boils down to some very tedious gunplay

Gameplay loop is extremely monotonous, content is lacking (following the launch of Beyond Light - I love playing on the same map 5 times in a row in Crucible and then seeing 1 to 2 more in 2 hours of play time) and the grind is just too boring. The rewards aren't worth the effort, and the nuisance of constantly getting gear you don't need (I don't need more boots ffs) when you reach Pinnacle is extremely frustrating
