Basically, after dying a couple times and beating the first "half" of the game (if you even want to call it that), I unlocked the second half.

On my literal SECOND ATTEMPT of that half, very early in the game I got a parasite that decreased how many Silphiums you need to upgrade your suit by 1/3rd, and very quickly became a 200% boosted nutcase. But that was only the beginning - because I also got artifacts/parasites that:

Doubled the amount of money I made
Let me pick up the money from insane distances
Significantly improved the positive effects of those parasites
Increased my damage resistance by like 50%
Gave me two extra lives -AND- enough money to fund every one of those revival machines
Made healing items 2x as effective

So I beat the first boss basically without even taking damage, and it started to snowball into crazytown.

I quickly got a version of the Hollowsomething weapon (basically the best weapon) that shot TWO other guns that could:
1 - Shoot through walls AND doors
and
2 - Act autonomously
and
3 - Poison every enemy they hit

So that started to get insane, because entire areas were cleared out before I even entered them (unless more enemies spawned while in the rooms).

There's like four bosses in the second half of the game, and none of them could scratch me. I had mountains of healing items stockpiled (all with 2x effectiveness), so much money that I could buy literally every suit upgrade available, more extra lives than a cat bouncing on goombas and a gun that shot guns that fought enemies for me.

I was utterly decimating the game, doing every side area like it was a joke and getting absolutely nutty artifacts (one increased my protection by a proportion of my Ether stockpile, so naturally my protection was almost infinite, and another literally caused health regeneration when my health was lower than 50%ish)

I finally made it to the final boss and just stood there as my gungun gun did a Reverse Bullet Hell on his helpless ass.

I know Roguelites can sometimes go in your favor, but this is a game where you're not really supposed to beat every single boss in the game in a single run (you can skip all previous bosses you've beaten).
