My job isnt hard...just a lot of training on financial aid, loan packaging, yadda yadda. Training goes for about 4 weeks before youre tossed in the deep end lol.

its a combo role for academic advising and managing financial aid/all other things $$$$ related for graduate students

I'm a manager at a moving company. As long as you can lift furniture and have basic spatial awareness you can manage most of it. Getting mouth breathers to stop wandering aimlessly around peoples' houses and not run into walls is the hard part.

Physically hard. I'm working as a "van foreman" which is basically a fancy way of saying a mover who drives the truck/directs the crew.

I doubt most people here could load 6,000lbs of furniture/boxes into a 5 ton truck securely without quite a bit of experience. My job is basically heavy lifting + playing Tetris.

lol, different worlds.

So basically
1 day to get your license and uniforms
2 days of training at this site
And bam, you're hopefully ready

But really, this site is one that tries to not get people who haven't done security before to work this position

$15.50 an hour though, and with holiday pay and 4.5 hours overtime this week I'm definitely psyched for the extra $20 in my paycheck a week from now.

It would take a few years of training to cover everything fully.
I could have someone ready to do a half-assed job in about 3 months.
