It's not about growing fucking balls. Jesus Christ. Of course here on CE no one has any idea of running a household budget and being married.

My wife does all the accounting and taxes so I always check with her before using money out of the joint checking account, especially for purchases over $100.

By the way TC, I'm waiting for the go ahead from "the wife" to get a Sony hzf9 soundbar setup. Its a 3.1 setup and its about $800 but it has a wireless sub and you can add rear speakers as well.

that's because people dont want to run a household or have a marriage. women are fucking terrible, just like men. even among my friendships the amount of couples i know where one has not cheated on the other I can count on one hand.

the only successful relationships I've seen are where one partner becomes financially dependent on the other, usually validated by a large difference in physical attractiveness between the couple

and that brings me back to "the wife" comments. these comments usually imply that the relationship is normative, and whatever behavior being discussed is immutable or to be expected. it isn't just disrespectful, it's misogynist. it isnt really offensive to women, just human intelligence tbh

i put "THE WIFE" because i was making fun of people like you dude. who don't see that a good relationship is based on trust, openness, and not spending 800 dollars out of the blue and going "deal with it im an A L P H A M A L E". using the word permission was also a poke at that.

In a lot of couples, one is better with money than the other. In my marriage, I'm better with money than my wife, and she knows she is very impulsive, so she comes to me before she makes any non essential purchase.

It isnt a power thing, or a whipped thing, it's about covering each others weaknesses and having it be a joint life, and not one leading the other.
