i mean, the gibberish in a game like animal crossing adds something to it. its meant to be cute and fun...if it was like, Metal Gear and they had no voice acting just leave them silent and let me read the text.

i prefer voice acting obviously, but gibberish is fine for games like sims or animal crossing where you'd probably wind up hearing the same dialogue over and over.

You can always do both and go the TOR route where they clearly gave up in the latter half of the game and all the NPCs just speak random alien gibberish but the early parts are all English.

I prefer voice acting to be honest, I like the chopped up-ness of hearing a mash of sounds a lot too but I do find myself often saying I wish I could hear your actual inflection on that if it were words irl

just a curiosity thing I guess
