Current Events > You're asked to look after a baby and it flushes your phone down the toilet.

You're at your friends house when she asks you to watch over her sleeping baby while she checks on the food.

You say sure. Not like it's much work. Then you hear the sound of your phone beeping but as you go to grab it, it's no longer in your pocket.

Confused you pat yourself down until you realize that the baby's cot is now empty.

You look around and see the baby holding your phone above the toilet.

"Bye bye phone." The baby says before flushing it down the toilet.

You rush to the toilet to try to grab it, but its too late. It's gone. While you do this, the baby runs back to its cot and lies back down as if he was asleep the whole time.

Your friend walks back in and suddenly he pretends to wake up, makes direct eye contact and starts laughing.

"Aww look, he likes you." Your friend says. "So active, I wonder when his first steps will be?"

I mean ignoring all the craziness of the hypothetical, I'd own up to letting it happen and have to replace my phone.

In this hypothetical I'd try to explain what happened but it sounds like they wouldn't likely believe me.
