Having my corrupt moron of a governor get his ass handed to him by having Facebook and Twitter suspend services in my state sounds like an absolute win to me.

"We're sorry, Twitter is not available in your region."

Imagine the shitstorm. Imagine people actually using twitter and fb for work and then just being blocked. Honestly it's fucked but it would be hilarious.
Trump lives in Florida doesn't he? Lmao

I uh...don't think that is going to hold up in court. Facebook isn't a public forum, they don't have to let you use it

They know that, they want a lawsuit so they can get the issue before the court

Think of how many billions of taxpayer dollars Republicans have wasted over the years on virtue signaling through garbage legislation that goes straight from the governor's desk to the courts to get struck down

Its a nice start but it doesn't go far enough. Protections need to extended to the press as well. These corporations should not be allowed to blatantly hijack our electoral process by censoring incriminating reporting of their candidate of choice as we've seen recently.

But there wasn't any censoring? News outlets including Fox didn't see enough credible information to report on it..

Iirc some people (Trump etc) were complaining that news stations weren't running the story when these same news organizations (including Fox) had looked at it and found no credible basis for it beyond Juiliani saying it over and over
