Lazy asses upset because now instead of being lazy, they need to be busy to drive themselves to another fast food joint to appease their laziness.

I mean, while I get their reason for being mad (youre a chicken place and youre out of chicken at peak dinner time, get your shit together), I rarely think its okay to yell at somebody you dont know.

and when I say theyre out of chicken, I dont mean the store didnt have any chicken in it, I mean they didnt have any ready. I dunno how long it takes to rotisserie a chicken for them, but Id guess around an hour or so. The lady said theyd have chicken in 20-30 minutes.

so either they planned incorrectly, somebody fucked up, or they had a HUGE order that they didnt plan for. Or maybe they usually do 2 grand on a Wednesday and today they were pushing 6. Idk, lots of variables

I was at a place the other day where they were clearly working with a lot of new people. Line backed up. People yelling. Dude tore out and almost hit another car cause he didn't want to wait any longer

I just waited and was nice to them cause I worked retail so I knew how it felt. Ended up with an extra sandwich >_>

I went to Wal-Mart recently and all the chicken was out of stock except Great Value nuggets and Tyson frozen tenders.

what a stupid thing to say.

first of all, I dont own a rotisserie, but lets say I did. I paid 30-som dollars for a rotisserie chicken and four sides. That is a lot, absolutely.

but 1/20th is like a dollar fifty. If you think you can make an entire rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, corn, cornbread, and Mac and cheese for a dollar fifty, youre stupid.

and on top of that the time and effort put into that at home is worth more than the meal that Im paying.

get over yourself mr 1/20th

Ive worked in restaurants when we ran out of our signature things. We would put a huge sign on the door and the drive thru warning people, but they would go right past it and then explode on you for not having what they want. Some people just dont understand the concept of the delivery truck only coming certain days and influx in customers and large orders causes a restaurant to run out quicker than they expect.

Not sure if you guys have read about the truck drivers quitting in droves, but this could really disrupt the supply chain in many ways. Basically, theyre overworked and underpaid. Its hard to blame them for not wanting to do slave labor for a non-livable wage. Either way, this type of thing is going to keep happening until they address the wage gap.

They've mad it harder to become a truck driver too. No felonies, no drug-related or alcohol-related convictions etc. You have to go to truck school on your own dime and the price is skyrocketing.
