I jumped right into Nioh 2 the day after finishing Nioh 1 thinking I just be kicking ass. I don't know how many times I fucking died to that first spear throwing thing. It felt like absolutely none of the tricks I had picked up playing the first one mattered.

This is still a hard game

I really liked Nioh at first, but the game just got progressively worse as it went on, and its a long ass game, never finished it and still havent tried nioh 2
