2 because it's the best in almost every metric except pure story, it only loses there because the overall plot doesn't really move forward

ME3. Best combat, most refined gameplay, and the story is very good. Plus I didnt have an issue with the ending too. Only thing it lacks compared to ME2 is a better squad.

First one is my favorite. No doubt theres a lot that 2 does better, but as a single, first-time experience theres no comparison for me in terms of world-building and main story.
