He was charged with breach of peace and racial harassment after it surfaced online last week and he has also been suspended for 10 days The image was taken at school of 16 y/o Jamar Medor sitting at his desk with a horrific caption The school is located at Fairfield County, one of the WEALTHIEST areas of the united states with just 3% of the student body being black He spoke to ABC stating he was stunned after seeing that and said "I just had no words wheni saw it..i was so confused." He said he's never experienced racism at his high school but now he is concerned and said "I just don't feel comfortable going to school or walking the halls so i stayed home today actually" His mother, Judith hopes the student is EXPELLED as she too is worried for her son's safety and described her son as caring and sensitive. I was very fortunate as a grade school student my principal was a black woman who made sure every February we had assemblies/activities commemorating black history/contributions. But the school itself also has a duty to do and perhaps they felt the 10 day suspension was enough. I dont think it is, though. I dont agree with the kid in anyway... but I do understand doing stupid shit at that age. But I think its worse for the black kid that was just minding his own business, and now has to deal with a level of concern perhaps even trauma. I also firmly believe the need to make an example in these types of cases. So they want to be seen as very tough over this scandal. As far as the racist is concerned the black guy has no business being there.
