Like a lot. In Brazil, Argentina etc. I'm not talking about people that mixed in with blacks or indigenous people. Their family line is white going back generations. But in the US they wouldn't be called white, but latino or some crap for political reasons.

My understanding is Autism is more like a different OS for the brain. Sure some autistic people aren't very social and avoid attention (some neurotypicals do too).

I think because the brain process function differently, it's more likely for Autistic people to not fully understand social stigmas and norm, and as a result can go against the grain and stand out, or "march to the beat of their own drum"

I mean Elon said he has Autism on SNL, and it's not like he doesn't love attention.

Latinx is just to be inclusive to non-binary people, since the Spanish language is heavily gendered.

Languages are organic and every changing What would a non-binary person use to describe their cultural identity if they are neither Latino or Latina? Do you all also have an issue with They/Them pronouns?

I'm obviously going to be outnumbered on this, and I doubt I change any minds. It's irritating that any label that describes their identity is met with such resistance every time. Even by people who support trans people who are male or female, or even other members of the trans community.

They could use their preferred pronouns in their own language? Latinx doesn't make any sense syntax wise in relation to the actual language. Latino is a gendered and gender neutral term depending on how it is used. You can't separate gender from the Spanish language because it's based on gendering nouns. Many languages are like that.

Something has always been this way, so no effort to update or change it should be made.

Like I said, I'm not changing opinions on this in a board full of cis people who will just reinforce each other, I'm outta here.

It's not realistic to change entire languages that have been around hundreds of years to suit a small subset of society. I'm sorry. It's not realistic or necessary. You can call yourself Latin American. You don't even need to add an a or o. It's not necessary.

And I'm not a cis person that fights against trans issues or pronoun usage so please miss me with that.
