EnglishBullDoug 05/11/21 12:59:10 PM #1:	Is there a lamer excuse for lagged text/response write backs? At what point do you let them know you've had enough of their nonsense? I'm at strike one with this girl who wanted to meet up the other night, but totally ignored my message yesterday. Well whoever else she was talking to must have said the wrong thing because now I've got her attention again. But it really annoys me the simple ways women try to talk around being disrespectful. Do I give this time a pass? Or was this an actual text? Because if its through an app, Ill often ignore notifications from apps, and sometimes Ill even turn notifications off for those completely. I could imagine if shes a girl on a dating app shes probably getting flooded with messages (whether shes responding to any of them or not) so it would be much more reasonable for her to lose your message in the shuffle. These would be understandable to me. A text message, on the other hand, I wouldnt miss. I might not respond right away, or I might forget to respond until later - or in extreme cases I might forget to respond for so long that I then feel guilty and simply dont text that person again until they send me another text I can respond to.
