I was watching a youtube video on my phone and there was an ad for a mobile game called Evertale.

It started off like a standard ad about collecting monsters (think Pokemon) but ended with what looked like Professor Oak sacrificing a monster to this house demon and there was a giant spray of blood before the graphics went all distorted and the ad ended. It looked kinda neat (in the game that plays you sort of way) so I wanted to check it out and just see what the plot was because I'm not very good at actual horror games. I feel like I wasn't really supposed to find what I found? >_>

The game itself looks like your standard waifu collecting affair, but there's a few posts on reddit or whatever complaining about the fact that the game itself are nothing like the ads. So I looked at this thread with a bunch of ads and they're like for a completely different game. they all have that Omori vibe to them, and they're all incredibly violent and cryptic (I probably can't even link them) and just straight up creepy. But it seems like all the commercials are designed to draw people into this game that has barely any content.

So either something is afoot, or it's just false advertising money grabbing. Which is scummy either way, Anyone else seen these ads?

Lol I remember one involving supposedly strategy and FPS which apparently was just one of those build a base and fight other players with no FPS involved. In fact the FPS footage was stolen straight from a PC game

I need this in my life if it lives up to these ads.

tbh if the game is nothing like the ads, they should just make the ads their main product as little video shorts or something <_<

Honestly that's what I'm saying!!
This is way too good and high effort. Just make a "pull the keys to unlock the puzzle" like a normal ad company.
