The number one cure for lower back pain is to lie on a tennis ball where the pain is on a hardware floor. The more it hurts to lie on the ball, the more strained the muscle. If you just man up and force yourself to lie on it for 15-30 seconds youll feel so much better the next day you wont know what happened. Has worked for me for 10+ years having all sorts of sports and lifting injuries

Shit, I'll give it a try... ive recovered from a bad neck injury, a torn labrum, and really bad back injuries all with this method. I cant remember who originally taught me, it was some physical therapist, but essentially most people dont do this type of therapy because it hurts like hell to actually get results but if youre willing to stomach a lot of pain for 30 seconds or so it is worth it. And everyday you do it for the injury it hurts less and less to do so youre starting at the worst part of therapy and getting better each day. if it works for you buy a theracane. Greatest product ever my mma gym told me about it, its very cheap but same exact idea, putting a hard round ball on the part that hurts for 30 seconds. If you have money buy a timtam or whatever its called, they are the best physical therapy tools for athletes (at least two years ago they were now I dunno) thats basically a hard ball attached to an egg beater ... What has worked for me is laying on my back on the floor with my legs in a sitting position resting on the chair. I will have to try the tennis ball.
