so far, The Utopian feels like the opposite of Homelander and Omni-Man, and by that, he seems to legitimately care about people's well being.

Is this supposed to be similar to The Boys? First I've heard of this show but it looks interesting after scanning its wikipedia page

Not a fan of your OP. It's too soon for me to comment on Omni Man (only on episode 7),but Homelander is beloved by the people. He definitely cares about their perception of him.

from what I've seen, it's not really like The Boys.

it has superpowered heros and criminals, but it also focuses on family drama stuff.

it also has a bunch of flashbacks to the 20s, before the Utopian (the main hero dude) and the rest of the Union had their powers.

I kinda like it so far. 3 episodes in. Production quality isn't as high as the other shows though, it kinda feels like Alphas quality, if you remember that show on SyFy.

it's interesting how no one in the past has powers, so far, from what we've seen, but how in the modern day, there are a bunch of different people with powers, both good and bad.
