It's not as simple as saying, "This is a good thing because we can now openly address the problems within our nation." This is objectively a bad thing because women and men of Asian descent, mostly older people who are easily preyed upon, are being attacked without cause.

Telling people not to cross borders during a pandemic for the sake of public health is not xenophobia like when USA kept talking about building a wall to keep out Mexicans from taking over USA jobs. It can seem the same to some trolls but its not.
