I really hope that, in the wake of George Floyd, we see more of these scumbag cops held accountable. More likely, the ones that don't receive national coverage will get off lightly or not be punished at all. It's such a messed up system.
Proposition B, a charter amendment that would have stripped the police union of its right to collectively bargain with the city, was defeated by a narrow margin Saturday. About 51 percent of voters opposed Prop. B, with 49 percent supporting it, according to the final tally.
I might be missing something, but I'm not sure how Prop B is related to whether people respect police or not.
