Phones typically save app data. Not familiar with droids but Im sure theres a simple way to view that.

Also I know at least with Apple an app thats previously been downloaded will show that cloud icon instead of the typical download button.

It's not cool to go through your partner's phone or to do things that make your partner justifiably paranoid to the point that they want to check your phone.

TC, take it from someone who was there very recently: if you feel like you need to see her phone, you already know what you're going to find. Even if you don't this time, you'll always wonder.

If you get back with a cheater, you'll always wonder. Did she actually go to work today? Is she actually going to pick up food or is she meeting up with someone else? It never leaves your mind and it'll absolutely destroy you.

Some of you are oversimplifying this; they've been together for TEN YEARS. Saying 'just break it off' when it's not something that's easy at all to do is a bit crass, even if it's probably the correct idea. It sounds like they've gone most of that time on good terms and this is AFTER the person already cheated and was taken back into the fold, and I bet that was over 5 years previous.

10 years is a long time, that's a lot of time invested into something.

Instead of going the ultimatum route why don't you actually tell her what you have noticed about pokemongo? State what you said in this topic that you noticed her exp isn't going up and that you notice she isn't on the app at all (no idea how this app works mind you) and then see what she says.

I just think after 10 years there's a better way to handle this Instead of saying let me go through your phone or we are done. Remember, if she's cheating on you there is a reason why and learning that reason is hard but it helps to either fix the relationship or walk away.

I think the point most people are trying to make here is that if the level of mistrust is to the point that checking your SO's phone behind their back is justifiable the relationship is dead to begin with

tbf if someone cheated in the past, is suspected of cheating again and their first response to asking to see their phone is "My privacy" they're 99% cheating.

But like other people said, just break up with them. Clearly she has something to hide.
