One of my friends/former roommate's cats had really bad anxiety due to probably living in an abusive household before he adopted her... like running away from anyone or anything unfamiliar, puking multiple times daily, chewing fur off all over herself until would bleed. I know it would depend on the cats themselves, but need a general idea. My mom wants to get two cats, but doesn't have a lot of room for litter boxes and she's kind of nervous that it wouldn't work out if the boxes are too close. Most people he doesn't mind but when its a big group he starts getting really anxious. Good luck with your kitty. Maybe 3 months or something like that. I had to get a ferret harness cause he was too small for the cat ones. Now he uses a dog harness. Lol. If you can manage to get it on it might not be a bad idea to just leave it on while they hang out.
