She crashed on that island, and the person she was with died on impact. However she walked a little bit ways on this island and tried to build a campfire likely bleeding and injured.

That island is known for having hundreds upon hundreds of coconut crabs that swarm during the night. They usually go for coconuts but will rip animals to shreds if they smell blood. More than likely they came out at night, smelled her blood and ripped her to pieces.

I can't find anything that suggests her remains, plane, or crash point has been located, so this sounds like fanfiction.

So yes, fanfiction. You do know the crash site has never been identified, right?

I can't find anything that suggests her remains, plane, or crash point has been located, so this sounds like fanfiction.

Bones were found on Nicomaroro, a remote island in the Western Pacific Ocean back in 1940. A doctor from Fiji's Central Medical School studied the bones and took a series of measurements where he came to the conclusion that they actually belong to a middle-aged stocky male about 5 ft 5 in height. This was a controversial conclusion at the time being as there was also a woman's shoe, herbal liquor that Amelia was known to drink, and a box that held navigation equipment near the bones.

That of course took place in the very infancy of forensic osteology. In 2018 a researcher named Richard Jantz re-examined the bone's measurements and found they closely match those of Amelia. Using modern forensics and a computer program designed to aid in determining age and gender from bone measurements, he stated that if in fact the bones were from those of a stocky male he would have had bone lengths very similar to Amelia's which is a low probability event. In fact the analysis reveals that Earhart is more similar to the Nikumaroro bones than 99% of individuals in a large reference sample.

After this was revealed investigators went back out to the island to search for more clues and found a canister of 1930s freckle cream, Amelia had quite a few freckles and was somewhat famous back then for using freckle cream.

Thank goodness you guys have me to piece these clues together. Again Amelia was likely killed by coconut crabs sadly.

"The TIGHAR hypothesis has many critics, with TIGHAR's founder and executive director, Richard Gillespie, described as a good showman who lacks credible results.[22] A curator at the Smithsonian Institution's Air and Space Museum said: "Not to impugn [Gillespie], but I don't think he's found anything on any expedition."[23] To date, TIGHAR has failed to connect any of their artifacts to Earhart, Noonan, or to any specific person or persons known to have been on the island from 1929 to present. TIGHAR has failed to provide any dating to establish how long any of the artifacts were in the ground, nor has it provided evidence as to when the artifacts may have arrived on the island.
Famed ocean explorer Robert Ballard led a 2019 expedition to locate Earhart's Lockheed Model 10-E Electra or evidence that it landed on Nikumaroro. After days of searching the deep cliffs supporting the island and the nearby ocean using state of the art equipment and technology, Ballard did not find any evidence of the plane or any associated wreckage of it. Allison Fundis, Ballard's chief operating officer stated: "We felt like if her plane was there, we would have found it pretty early in the expedition."[6]"
