I have no record or restraining orders, no desire to harm anyone etc, but if I did there's nothing stopping me from going to a show and picking up a cheap gun for "that slut and her new boyfriend". That is a HUGE problem. Luckily many sellers have some fucking morals and will conduct a background check, but many also have the attitude of "not my problem what they do with it, muh rights muh property". Not inaccurate, but why contribute to the problem? I would never forgive myself if I sold a gun to someone who then used it to assault someone. --- "You go. To be fair there is a decent amount of disagreement among people that know con law very well. Read DC v. Heller. That case was really about the militia issue. I think we can all read it and see that the plain language is really about state rights in regulating militias. This led to the question of what about people that arent in the militias?
